The 5 Rythms of Water, The 5 Rythms of Love - The Ocean
‘The river renounced its own ways, it transmutes and transforms. The river returns and expands into the mighty ocean.’
Welcome back to the fifth post of our series, ‘The 5 Rhythms of Water, The 5 Rhythms of Love’.
If you didn't have the opportunity to read the three previous posts, please take a moment to click the links below and receive the complete message of the rhythms of Water.
The Rhythms of Water - The Well, The Creek, The Spring, The River.
The Fifth Rhythm of Water, The Fifth Rhythm of Love - The Ocean.
Oscar, our facilitator, continued to share the final rhythm.
‘The fifth rhythm of Water is The Ocean. The Totality!
Just like when the river surrenders and becomes the ocean, just like when the river loses his individuality and merges with the ocean, this rhythm of water implies renunciation.
The Amazon river is one of the biggest in the world. When it arrives at its river mouth, in the Atlantic ocean, it merges, loses its identity and expands into the salty waters of the vast ocean.
The Amazon River has to let go of being the Amazon River, so that it can give itself to the ocean; there is not even one drop of sweetness left.
The river renounced its own ways, it transmutes and transforms. The river returns and expands into the mighty ocean.
In our case, as we arrive at The Fifth Rhythm of Water, we renounce, in the form of transformation of our egotistic ways, of thinking, of giving and receiving, of feeling, of our preconceived ideas of who we believe we are and of our purpose.
The beautiful transformation from sweet to salty is experienced.
That is what is implied in the fifth rhythm of water. Transformation through renunciation. From whatever you were before, to be content, sacred and mighty.
The Ocean these days is contaminated, but still is vibrant and full of life. The Ocean gives hope. Take this hope into your lives, into your family and your friends.
There is a different way of living, a more conscious way, more connected.
Daily Practice:
This is the teaching of the prayer to the water. There is a beautiful way of applying practice of it.
In your daily routine, allow yourself a moment to feel, to notice.
“Today I am in the first rhythm, of water, or the third… or maybe the fifth”.
Then remember, that even in the fifth rhythm of water perfection isn’t implied.’
Gratitude to Oscar and Ximena for sharing from @Shatirialnatural, for passing on this teaching.
May the sacred Waters fill our lives with unconditional Love!
We have enjoyed sharing these Rhythms of Water with you.
